About Me
Greetings! I’m D’Anna, and my passion for food, health, and helping others has been with me my whole life.
Growing up, food was never just fuel. It was family, culture, and connection. I spent countless hours in the kitchen with my grandmothers, learning traditional recipes passed down through generations. Summer afternoons were spent in the garden, watching food grow from seed to harvest and picking fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the source. Those early experiences gave me a deep appreciation for where food comes from and the joy it can bring to our lives.
But food shaped my life in another way too. I grew up watching family members navigate diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. I saw firsthand how what we eat can influence our health and quality of life. That combination of love for food and lived experience with its impact on health, led me to use those passions and life experiences to educate, support, and empower others.
What you can expect working with me
Sustainable change over quick fixes We won’t overhaul your entire life overnight. Instead, we’ll focus on small, intentional shifts that feel manageable, build momentum, and grow into lasting habits over time. If you’re looking for a quick fix, I’m probably not the right fit, and I’d rather be honest about that upfront.
A whole-person perspective Food is just one part of your story. I take into account your sleep, stress, environment, and lifestyle because your relationship with food and your long-term well-being are shaped by your whole life, not just what’s on your plate.
Care that empowers, not creates dependency My goal is to give you the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make informed choices about your health long after our work together ends. I want you to feel empowered, not reliant on me for every decision.
Accountability with heart I’ll celebrate your wins, show up for the hard days, and hold you to your goals with warmth and honesty without judgment.
A little more about me
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, traveling, getting lost in a good book, or crafting something creative. I love spending time with my husband and our cat and dog. They certainly keep life full and fun!
